BLS, CPR, AED & First Aid Training Courses taught in accordance with American Heart Association Guidelines
My name is Jessica and I founded Pensacola Keep the Beat Alive CPR. I am a Registered Nurse and have spent the last 10 years caring for patients in healthcare settings. I decided to become a CPR instructor because I have a passion to help people gain life saving knowledge and skills. I am dedicated to making learning easy, accessible and fun. I realized there was a need for CPR classes outside the M-F work day. I am available in the evenings and on weekends. I can arrange a class onsite at your preferred location or place of business. I also schedule and host classes monthly (see my events page for dates & times). Check out the site to learn about what services I have to offer and give me a call to schedule a training class today!
Learn the skills you need to save lives.
I am very flexible with course times and schedules, so if you can’t find something that works for you, simply get in touch.
FOLLOWING SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES DURING THE PANDEMIC
With Express One-On-One Blended Courses
I know in light of COVID19 it can be concerning signing up for a training class with a large group of people. However, it is essential that our healthcare and daycare workers stay up to date on their certifications and cpr skills. That is why I am offering an express one-on-one eLearning and in-person training class in accordance with the American Heart Association daily.
The eLearning and in-person blended course from the American Heart Association (AHA) is a fast and convenient way to schedule your certification while practicing social distancing guidelines.
Your AHA certification card will be issued within 72 business hours of course completion.
There are two parts:
Part 1 is the virtual classroom that the student completes in the comfort of their home as homework. Once completed, the student emails the AHA completion certificate to the instructor (me).
Part 2 is the 30 minute- 1 hour skills test. This one-on-one in-person skills test covers CPR, AED, and choking for adult, child and infant.
American Heart Association's blended eLearning (with in person skills testing) program certification is equivalent to a regular 100% class room training and the same card is issued at completion of the course for both classroom and blended eLearning courses.
