Let's Have Some Fun - The Best Songs for CPR
I wanted to have a little fun today and give you all some great songs that will help you perform CPR at the appropriate rate. CPR compression should be performed at a rate of 100-120 beats per minute. In the past it has been suggested that compressing to the tempo of the Bee Gee's "Stayin' Alive" will help you achieve the appropriate beats per minute.
I want to provide you a list of more songs that are approximately 100 beats per minute to help you remember the appropriate tempo of CPR compressions. These are my personal favorites...
Justin Timberlake "Rock Your Body"
The All-American Rejects "Gives You Hell"
Hanson "MMMBop"
Cyndi Lauper "Girls Just Want to Have Fun"
Justin Bieber "Sorry"
Sugar Ray "Fly"
Shakira "Hips Don't Lie"
Missy Elliot "Work It"
Gnarls Barkley "Crazy"
Michael Jackson "Man in the Mirror"
Barenaked Ladies "One Week"
Pink Floyd "Another Brick in the Wall"
